Welcome to this year's Men's Retreat! We're excited to have you join us as we commit a day toward personal and spiritual growth. Whether this is your first time or eighth time (congrats) attending our 1-day retreat, we thank you for making the time and effort... it's worth it.
THEME: tba
SPEAKER: Dr Soong-Chan Rah is the Robert Boyd Munger Professor of Evangelism and Church Renewal at Fuller Theological Seminary. He holds too many degrees—a BA from Columbia University, an MDiv and a DMin from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (concentration in urban ministry leadership), a ThM from Harvard University (thesis on the immigrant church), and a ThD from Duke Divinity School (primary field of study in theology and ethics and a secondary field of study in American evangelical history). He was the founding senior pastor of a church in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and worked with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in the Boston area.
Dr. Rah has authored or co-authored over a half-dozen books (award-winning books, of course), and is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church.
SCHEDULE: Please be on time for our retreat which will start at 8:30am. Each of the 3 sessions with Dr Rah will be followed with small group time. We will finish around 3:00pm.
MEETING ROOM & PARKING: We will meet in Annex 1 at the Mary & Joseph Retreat Center. You will be emailed a week prior to the retreat with a map.
FREE WILL OFFERING (optional): If you would like to add a free will offering ($5 or $10), click the appropriate box. (This is NOT required!)
MISCELLANEOUS: Our men's retreat is casual, but impactful. Expect to hear and discuss topics that may make you think and challenge you to make changes in life. You will be given a small handbook, so bring a pen if you plan to take notes. We will spend time both indoors and outdoors, so please dress appropriately.
